NETWORK PLANNING SENIOR ENGINEER

To plan the expansion and rollout of Mascom’s Radio Access Network GSM/UMTS/LTE network and accordingly dimension the BSC/RNS for optimal performance to support business strategy .

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• B. Eng Electrical (Electronic) or B. Eng Telecommunications/communications.
• At least four years’ experience in Telecommunication field mostly in GSM/UMTS Radio Access Network Planning.
• Good 2G/3G RF network planning and optimisation processes knowledge.
• Good understanding of RF ancillary equipment and function.
• Knowledge and practice of RF Planning tool and Drive Test measurement tools.
• Good knowledge of 2G/3G KPI, practice in creating and analysis of statistical KPI reporting.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support.
