Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the
position Regional financial Manager. The successful candidate will be in charge
of the finance and admin function of our Botswana and Namibia operations. This
is a highly dynamic role in which the successful incumbent must be able to “hit
the ground running”
With a financial manager for each country reporting to the
regional Financial manager, the regional financial manager will be overall
responsible to ensure the following is done in both Namibia and Botswana:
§
Cash and assert management
§
Wage/salary administration
§
Procurement administration
§
Administration of insurance and sureties
§
Office management
§
PAYE, VAT and withholding tax administration
§
Manpower development
§
Management and financial reporting including
consolidation in various currencies
§
Internal systems and controls
§
Overseeing internal and external audits
§
Statutory and tax returns
§
Contract management assistance
§
Coach and
train team members for their development whilst resolving dysfunctional
behaviour
§
Providing unit leadership, team guidance and
management direction
Requirements
B.Com Degree-accounting and auditing
§
8 years experience in a similar position in an
open cast mining environment
§
A working knowledge and experience in Namibia and
Botswana operations including business administration and the relevant tax and
company legislaton
§
Knowledge of dynamic payroll package
§
A solid workin knowledge of multicurrency
reporting
§
A strong leadership extensive management acumen
§
Good communication
and interpersonal skills
§
Good financial and administrative skills
